I started my career as a teacher the fall of 2006. In May of 1995 I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and worked in the accounting industry for five years before becoming a stay at home mom for six years. During this time of staying at home, I volunteered often at BCA and felt the Lord nudging my heart to become a teacher. I always loved kids and even wanted to be a teacher as a child. I am thankful that the Lord opened doors and led me to teach at BCA. My family includes my husband, Stacy Dobson, with whom I have been married for seventeen years. We have three boys- Phillip, Tanner and Matthew. Phillip is a BCA alumnus now a Freshman in High School. Tanner has now ventured into Middle School, while Matthew is in the Fourth Grade. I want BCA parents to know that I have been affiliated with Bethesda Christian Academy for almost ten years, beginning as a parent and now as a parent and staff member. My children have truly received and continue to receive the best education possible, in a Christ-honoring, loving, nurturing environment. I strive to challenge your children in my classroom while making sure they have the same wonderful experience that my children have and will continue to have. I seek to partner with you and the other staff members to raise your children to become ambassadors for Christ! |
